The Ergo Lightweight Pushchair & Wheelchair are supplied with a
Safety Harness but you can also fit a Lap Belt either as an alternative or to supplement the Safety Harness.
If the occupant tends to slide down the seat under the Safety Harness, or if they will not accept and do not need to be retained by a body harness then a Lap Belt can solve these problems.
The Lap Belt is not a loose single continuous belt which fits around the occupant but rather tow halves; a left and a right belt each of which fits to the seat frame on each side. This is an integrated belt not a loose one so it cannot be lost accidentally. This means it takes a few minutes to fit on first use, but it is easy.
